KERRY AMENDMENT 4442 OF S.2766 DEFEATED

Kerry amendment to remove U.S. troops from Iraq by July 1, 2007 defeated in senate by vote of 86 Nayes to 13 Yeas. As I see it, those in favor are motivated by hatred of President Bush.

 MY FIRST POST

I write from a conservative point of view and do stress personal responsibility. I deal only with issues and do not engage in personal attacks. My favorite motto: with every right and privelege there is a corresponding duty and responsibility. That is the conservative way.

Column in Sunday June 18 Pioneer Press by Ali Al-Zahid leader of Iraquna, a think tank for Iraqis in Austria. "If someone had told us that Iraq would be like this three years after liberation, we would not have believed it. We would have still supported the liberation with utmost conviction.
