| | | Inbox For those that don't know about history...... here is a condensed version. Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The two most important events in all of history were: 1. The invention of beer, and 2. The invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1. Liberals 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement. Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided. Over the years Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass. Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat. Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively.
Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
Here ends today's lesson in world history....... It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off....

Most voters vote with their heart rather than their mind. Few voters make cold, rational decisions about who to vote for and can tell us why they decided as they did. In reality liberal voters make emotional intuitive decisions about who they prefer then come up with post-hoc rationalizations to explain choices that were already made. People often act without knowing why they do what they do. It is highly implausible that people choose their candidates by their stand on issues. Few even know who voted how on major acts of congress. My very intelligent and liberal friend CFM admits that she votes with her heart rather than her mind.

Now this is the best explanation of how our Tax system works.
Bar Stool Economics Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers, he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?' They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings). The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.
'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!'
'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!'
'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'
'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This can be demonstrated to be accrit with the US govt income tax tables. The 2002 tax cut tables show that the tax reduction for the lowest income earners is from 15% to 10%. In dollars this shows a 33 1/3% reduction in taxes paid. For the greedy wealthy, rates were lowered from 36% to 35% resulting in a 0.1% reduction in dollars paid.
As it is now a family of four pays no federal income tax until wages exceed $45,000.
Another interesting fact: according to social security administration, during the year 2007, wages went up at a rate double that of prices. The average wage index, that's hourly wages not CEO compensation, increased by 4.6% and consumer price index increased by 2.3%. This can be seen on US bureau of labor statistics.

The first amendment of the US constitution guarantees that church will not take over rule of our country as is the case with Islam in Iran and other middle east countries. There was some needless fear when a Catholic, JFK, ran for president in 1972 and now with Mitt Romney a Mormon.
The first amendment sez "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion nor can they interfere with an established religion." As simple as it is there are too many liberals who carry it way beyond reason. There are too many examples to be listed.
The Iran Hostage crisis is for most Americans their first encounter with Islamo-fascism and as such can be seen as the first battle in that ongoing world conflict. The hostages were beaten and tortured daily for 444 days of ther captivity and those doing it really enjoyed themselves. Most heard by the hostages from their captors was "Everything we do is for Islam. What matter if we die. We shall go to paradise with 74 virgins."
I personally have a fear, though remote, if we elect many Muslims to congress, as we did Keithn Ellison, we could lose our separation of church and state. In the long run this could be possible.

Every law imposes morality. First amendment to US constitution sez "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion nor can they interfere with an established religion.
In our country we live under the secular law and the church has no coercive power. That is what is meant by "separation of church and state." But what some people mean by it is that no law shall "impose moratity" that they do not agree with. This interpretation is absurd, to say the least.
Alla laws impose morality, but that does not mean that all laws which impose morality are unconstitutional in the sense that they violate basic civil rights. Medicare, Medicade and social security impose a certain morality. So does corporate income tax and progressive income tax. Welfare programs "impose morality" and some might ay that giving welfare and and child support to an unwed mother imposes a bad morality and violates the rights of fathers and taxpayers. Liberals have no problem imposing their morality even to the point where they have no problem violting basic constitutional property rights by imposing "anti-price gouging laws" , "windfall profits taxes", and the like.
