For Personal Responsibility

 TODAY AT MESA REGAL, ARIZONA

Just purchased a beautiful park model trailer. Measures 12 by 40 feet , 480 square feet. That's larger than most. Has everything we need, washer and dryer, heat pump, covered outdoor area, well furnished, satellite TV, computer hookup, and much more. We will use this each year from January thru March, hate to be away from Minnesota any longer.

 GONE TILL MARCH

We are in Arizona and expect to be home March 7. Today is high of 68 degrees. We are looking to buy a place in Mesa Regal Resort. Lotsa money. This is OK for winter, but not as good as Minnesota the rest of the year.

 JOHN EDWARDS, EASY MONEY

There is a critical distinction between Mitt Romney's and John Edwards' wealth. Mr. Romney, as a business man, made investments that created wealth. Mr. Edwards, as a trial lawyer, made his money through lawsuits that merely took from one pocket and gave to another, and probably destroyed wealth in the process. Mr. Edwards' multimillion-dollar medical malpractice verdicts almost certainly hurt the quality of health care and increased the cost.

Little wonder that Mr.Romney understands that to improve the economy, one needs to expand the pie, while Mr. Edwards' policy proposals focus entitely on the redistribution of the exsiting pie without thought for the future adverse consequences to the size of the pie.

Perfect example is Jin and Soo Chung, owners of a mom and pop dry cleaners, lost $67 million lawsuit for ruining a pair of pants. Better yet was the lady sued McDonalds for spilling coffee on herself. I don't think Mr. McDonald did it.

This isn't only Mr. Edwards, he's just following the rules of the whole Democratic party. The American Association for Justice ( a pseudonym for the American Trial Lawyers Association) gives the Democratic party 96% of their political donations as do labor unions. See this at www.opensecrets.org/pacs/topacs.asp. You don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Another example is bill titled Personal Responsibility in the Consumption of Food Act designed to stop lawsuits against McDonalds because someone got too fat. The roll call on this bill was Yea 226 Republicans and 89 Democrats and Nay 0 Republicans and 114 Democrats. The money does it's job.

MOST POLITICIANS AND PUBLIC SUPPORTED WAR

Bush's decision to go to war was unilateral, but it did in fact have the support of most Americans and politicians, which surely encouraged him. As they survey the results today they have all changed their tunes, a little or a lot, with various degrees of contrition.

Americans are unhappy with President Bush right now with an approval rating of30% and congress at 23%. The public and politicians gave President Bush the green light to go to war and then condemn him when it turns out badly. Only 5% of public disapproved and senate voted 77 out of 100 in favor.

In 2004 the public showed their support for President Bush when they reelected him to office with a 50% plus approval rating. Now the clever congress people are voting to pull out completely knowing that it will not happen. They would think differently if they knew it would happen and they could be held responsible.

Now that things have improved greatly the left denies the fact using every weak excuse they can think of.

 COUNTRY SONG ABOUT ABORTION

Country song titled IT AIN'T SAFE TO BE NO WOMB DWELLER

Today I saw you on the ultra sound
You sure ain't very big around,
Warning! Warning! little feller,
It ain't safe to be no womb dweller.

Since your momma took the notion,
She can kill you without commotion,
And I ain't got no say about your life,
Cause your momma, she ain't my wife.

But how can they call it "pro-choice"
When me and the little feller got no voice?
The supreme court sez it's a woman's choice,
SO DEAR SON, GOOD NIGHT, GOD BLESS YOU.

Music written to this would be appreciated.
