Above headline in New York Times Sept 9. The discovery of a plot to detonate powerful bombs in Germany this week was a result of close cooperation between American and German security officias, with intelligence passing back and forth between the two sides.

American intelligence was instrumental in first bringing the foiled plot to the attention of German intelligence and law enforcement officials by interception of e-mail messages and telephone calls.

The big reason that we are different from Europeans is diversity, with USA 30% minority, Canada 12%, U.K. 8 % and the rest of the world much less. The liberals enjoy comparing the US with other eveloped countries and point out their superiority in certain areas. One is life expectancy with Japan at 82.6 years, China 82.2, Sweden 80.9 and USA at 78.2 years. Without our high rate of diversity tbis would not be the case.

Our immigrents are to the greatest numbers from Mexico, 76.2 yrs, South America 75 years and africa at 42 years life expectancy. That comparison is not valid.

There are a few of us still alive who remember when Democrats, as a nearly premanent majority in congress, lined the pockets of friends and supporters with money from social welfare programs. History teaches that neither party has had a monopoly on hypocrisy and neither deserves unquestioned support.
