Inflation in 2006 eased to the slowest pace in three years. In further good news, inflation-adjusted wages rose at the fastest clip in a decade. The labor departmennt reported that the consumer price index climbed 2.5% the past year, the best showing since 2003 and nearly a full percentage point lower than the 3.4% jump in 2005. The encouraging news stemmed from a sizeable slowdown in the second half of last year. The slowdown in prices occured as workers wages began to show bigger gains. The combination of lower inflation and faster wage growth translated into an increase in inflation-adjusted weekly wages of 2.1% for the 80% of the workforce in non-supervisory positions. Over the past 20 years the consumer price index has grown by 85% and average wage index has grown by 121%. This means a 36% increase in real wages over that period of time.

Regarding the smoking ban, if you don't like something just pass a law to cure it. There are no solutions just trade-offs. This is obvious looking at the smoking ban.

Nonie Darwish, daughter of a high level Muslim Shahid wrote a book titled NOW THEY CALL ME INFIDEL. "Why I renounced Jihad for America, Israel and the war on terror."

The Jihadists are waiting to sacrifice their lives to win the West. They call America "the great satan", but in trheir heart of hearts they want to aquire it and claim it for Islam.

Instead of building their own society asd a model of what Islam should be, they leave it in ruins and look to conquer hard-working and successful lands such as Europe and USA.

As I see it, there is no radical Islam as that term refers to all of Islam. There is no division. It is hard for me to understand how Democrats of Minneapolis couls have elected Keith Ellison, a practicing Muslim and supporter of minister Farakham to the US congress. It makes me fearful.
