As reported on 60 Minutes Sunday April 1st (April fools day) regarding Part D Medicare, with one year supply of Lipitor filled monthly, cost with VA is $550 and with Medicare is $785. This is so far from the truth that I suspect the truth of the entire program. Going to medicare.gov on the internet I find the price to be $565 with Humana Ins Co. and $340 with Health Partners, using myself as an example.With Humana and Health Partners the cost includes the monthly premium and with VA the taxpayers pay the premium.

Congress has taken steps to protect passengers on airplanes and other public transportation who report suspicious activities from being pulled into court to defend their actions. This is happening now with the Imams removed from US Airways flight 300 to Phoenix, suing US Air and passengers. As expected this legislation is being opposed by CAIR. Rep. Peter King (R-NY) put forth the amendment that makes any person who reports suspicious activities relating to perceived terrorist threats on a transportation system immune from civil liability. The amendment carried with vote of 304 aye and 121 no with all Republicans in favor and 121 Democrats opposed. The amendment which allows defendents to recover attorney's fees, also makes the bill retroactive to November 20, the day the six Imams were removed from flight 300.

As expected, Keith Ellison and Betty McCollum voted in opposition to the amendment.

The western concept of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do", is not a Muslim value. In Muslim culture, if Rome has it's door open, that is an invitation to invade and claim it as your own.

Many American Mosques show no respect to their host country. They have come with the agenda of changing the culture and not to be part of America. Many of the Imams get their salaries directly from oil-wealthy Muslim nations who send them to America on religios visas and build their mosques.

Eastern immigrants to the larger Jihadist worldview that has one goal: to over-take and over-whelm America and other western societies, bring the evil infidels to their knees, and conquer the world for Islam.

The Muslims bring fervor and conviction to this struggle; we don't. The Muslims are self-assured in the rightness of their cause; we answer with self-denigration and self-debasement. Muslims prize loyalty and discipline; we prize politically correct multicultuarlism.

Peacefully and without much notice, Islamists are trying to use our laws of tolerance against us to carve out exceptions for themselves. The Islamist faction that has infiltrated and intimidated Europe has found a home in our polite denial.

Aside from Osama Bin Laden and his crew of merciless killers, the people the most dedicated to seeing the United States defeated in a battle for the future of the world are the liberals now feebly trying to run the congress. You really have to hate America and it's people to lust after the defeat of your own country.
