To the editor,

There were three bills proposed to congress with two passed and one rejected. The first H.R. 1, the Economic Stimulus bill passed with all Democrats in favor and all but two Republicans opposed.

The second is the Senate amendment 107 to HR 1 to prohibit direct or idirect use of funds to fund ACORN. rejected with vote of 45 -51. All Republicans YEA and all Democrats NAY as expected.

The third senate amendment 2355 to HR 3288 to prohibit use of funds to fund ACORN passed with all Republicans in favor and only seven Democrats in favor, just enough to make it law.

The seven Democrats who voted YEA voted against Obama's own community organizing system.

It seems that Republicans were the only ones that were able to forsee and to admit to the dishonest and unlawful activities of ACORN that were made evident recently.
